Norton Twinning Association

Welcome to our website! We would like to show you some of the fantastic events we put on in the village.

Norton Twinning Association was established in 1985 when first contacts were made with MUIDS (pronounced Mwee), a village of similar size to Norton, on the River Seine in Normandy, France. The first mass visits were made in 1986, since then we have journeyed to Muids on alternate years, with our French friends visiting us in-between. The purpose of the Association is to organise the annual exchanges and in order to help with the funding of these we hold a number of social events in the village each year.

Our membership numbers more than 10% of the population of Norton and includes all age groups. If you are new to the village or are well established here and would like further information please contact us:
